Dear Nancy and Karla:
I am writing this letter to thank you for continuing to offer the North Star Program. As you may remember, my oldest daughter Jessica was a part of your first class. I will never forget the wonderful conversations that followed each meeting between the two of us. She felt so comfortable sharing her thoughts and feelings with the group. The projects that came home are still precious to her and have remained a part of her room!
When my youngest daughter Kara asked to take the class, I was thrilled. This class gives young adolescent girls a comfortable environment to ask questions and share feelings. The projects may have changed along the years but the mission of the course has not. Kara loved knowing that there were other girls with similar concerns and questions about life.
I hope that North Star will continue to thrive and be a long running tradition at the Foote School. As far as I know, this is a one of a kind program in this area. Keep up the good work and thank you once again for making a difference.
